OVERVIEW
Commissionaires BC is looking for versatile and highly motivated security professionals to augment our team in Prince Rupert . As a successful candidate you are physically fit, highly reliable, have excellent interpersonal and verbal communications skills, work well under pressure and can complete and obtain a criminal background check/enhanced security clearance.
JOB PROFILE
Under the direction of the Site Supervisor/Shift Leader, the commissionaire will utilize the post orders to provide superior customer service, security, and protection to their client and the client property/assets by:
- ensuring client property is secure in accordance with post orders;
- providing access control to client properties in accordance with post orders;
- completing daily logs and written reports as necessary;
- patrolling site and securing premises as required by site post orders.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Basic Standards Training (BST) 1 and 2
- Occupational First Aid Level 1
- SuperHost
- Military or RCMP experience is an asset
- Basic Security clearance is preferred
Commissionaires BC is willing to train the right candidate in BST Level 1 & 2, First Aid and SuperHost.
The right candidate must be able to pass a Criminal Records Background Check, and be willing to work shift work and weekends.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and or French
- Word and Internet computer skills an asset
