Security Guard Training
We are the experts in security training for security guarding and offer courses for security professionals to obtain security licensing qualification. We also offer classes for safety, first aid, customer service training and more. Our professional team of trainers, trained to meet the highest level of exacting standards, delivers class training at convenient locations in Surrey and Kelowna.
Courses Offered
We currently offer the following core curriculum of courses:
- BST (Basic Security Training) Security Guard Training (qualifies students to apply for a security licence from the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General) and trained to the exacting standards of the Canadian General Standards Board)*
Classes run 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, weekdays only

Important Information
- Students may commence their security training on any of the course modules: BST, Occupational First Aid Level 1 or WorldHost. All three modules must be completed to our exacting standards to potentially qualify for employment with Commissionaires;
- All students seeking employment as a security guard are welcome in our security guard training program. Upon completion of the BST course and successfully passing the exam, students will be qualified to apply for a security licence;
- Course material will be handed out on the first day of class;
- Please register in advance of training course;
