David FreemanDavid brings to learning and development thirty five years of direct leadership experience at all levels of the organization. After twenty years of service in the Canadian Forces involved in personnel development, he worked as an independent organizational trainer and consultant designing and facilitating courses, workshops and presentations for such diverse national and international organizations as Saudi Aramco (the National Oil Company of Saudi Arabia), The Justice Institute of BC and The International Association of Traumatic Stress Specialists. He has worked his way through many of the different departments of Commissionaires and now focuses on learning and development. Dave Walker

Trainer

David WalkerAs a 32 year veteran of the Vancouver Police Department, Dave Walker brings a unique ‘street level’ point of view to the trainer position at Commissionaires BC. Starting his career as a ‘beat cop’ his natural coaching and mentoring talent was quickly recognized and he began field training police recruits. In this role Dave’s ability to mentor new recruits, train them according to job specifications, and assess their capabilities, made him a natural for the position of Field Training Specialist. David Anderson

David AndersonAs a trainer at Commissionaires BC, David Anderson brings a wealth of experience in developing people’s potential. He has always strived to teach people how to acquire better life skills and achieve better workload management.   

Upon his arrival in Canada, he worked for both Zales and DeBeers. While at DeBeers, David worked on brand awareness and the popular “Diamonds are Forever” campaign. Read more

Marian Gushue-GeigerMarian brings over 25 years of experience in a variety of settings to her roles as Human Resources Manager and Trainer at Commissionaires BC. Marian uses her strong interpersonal skills to encourage the professional development of those she works with. In her work she has created and facilitated presentations on leadership and communication, conducted performance appraisals; organized fundraisers, career fairs and employee appreciation events; and presented on company initiatives used to attract and retain employees.
