How our Core Technology Works for Authentication and Anti-Counterfeiting

Commissionaires BC and our technology partners, can custom develop a forensic marker, or elemental tag, for each client by creating a unique combination of inorganic elements. The number of potential combinations is in the tens of millions. We further code our forensic markers, branded as Synthetic DNA, with digital data for tracking. We then apply a client’s unique, invisible and non-degradable Synthetic DNA marker to items through a variety of colourless liquid carriers, from inks and paints to plastics and polymers. The marker penetrates and binds with the item at the molecular level.

Once the marker has bonded with the item, it is virtually impossible to reverse engineer, remove or locate on the product. New patented, portable scanning technology instantly verifies the presence of a client’s unique forensic marker at the atomic level. The scanner technology uses proprietary software that identifies the owner’s elemental and digital signatures, providing 100% accurate brand authentication.
