That’s why at Commissionaires BC we have developed a variety of courses taught by qualified and experienced instructors.
Our wide range of training programs have been specifically developed for corporations and organizations across BC. Our professional team of trainers, trained to meet the highest level of exacting standards, deliver private, personalized training. Training can be arranged to take place at your location or on our premises in either one of our Vancouver, Surrey, or Kelowna training facilities.
We currently offer the following core curriculum of courses:
- BST (Basic Security Training) Security Guard Training (qualifies students for a security licence from the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General)*
- WorldHost (approved by Tourism BC)
- Occupational First Aid Level 1
- Occupational First Aid Level 2
- Occupational First Aid Level 3
- Prevention of Workplace Violence
Customized Programs
Additionally we can develop a custom curriculum to suit the precise needs of your trainees and deliver it where and when you need it.
*Effective March 1, 2009 there has been an official provincial curriculum change to the Basic Security Training (BST) course. The new BST course is now five days (40 hours) and replaces the BST 1, BST 2 and the combined BST 1&2 that were previously offered. As an approved training school, Commissionaires offers the latest course material developed by the Police Academy at the Justice Institute of BC.
